This beautiful golden Turmeric Persimmon Smoothie is your ultimate Fall smoothie! Vegan, Easy & Delicious!
So remember last week I was talking about my dumb injury and how leftovers are a savior? It turns out, smoothies are as well. What with the persimmon season in full swing I could not have passed the opportunity to make a beautiful golden smoothie with the delicious persimmon and a touch of turmeric and cinnamon. A true fall breakfast of a beautiful golden color with anti-inflammatory and detox properties!
This Turmeric Persimmon Smoothie is really easy to make, as most of the smoothies are – just toss all ingredients in the blender and blend away! For this recipe, I used turmeric and cinnamon from a local superfood store Malinca that has really high-quality organic products, but I’m sure your local products will be just as good.
And in other news – we just got our first snowfall of the season! This is really early for snow, but luckily, it did not keep. I like snow so long as I am watching it fall from under a blanket on our couch, but too many times I just get it under the gloves while cleaning the car or in my shoes when stepping in an ice-cold hidden puddle. So with the winter right behind the corner, it’s one more reason to enjoy some Turmeric Persimmon Smoothie sunshine in a jar 😉
