USER DATA
We collect some personal information on our visitors – namely email, name and / or last name:
- when a user signs up to recieve email updates
- when a user signs up to download our e-book
- when a user leaves a comment on our website
We store user data in our website’s backend (comments), in MailerLite (email signups and name), and in a backup Excel on our computer.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
CONTACT FORMS
We use NinjaForms plugin to generate our contact form. We collect user’s Name and /or Last name and Email and store this information within WordPress and on email indefinitely. We store this data for customer service purposes but do not use the information submitted through the contact form for marketing purposes.
HOSTING
We host the website in the European Union on servers that are GDPR compliant. The hosting provider is the company Editor d.o.o.
We guarantee to treat the collected personal data as per Law on Protection of Personal Data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and only for uses for which they were collected. We do not disclose our users’ personal data to third parties.
Our users can always update or delete the information we store by updating their subscription preferences, or by letting us know via email at kristina@vibrantplate.com. We’ll make sure to update your status for you or delete your contact per your request. You can also always demand of us to disclose the personal data we keep on you and how we use it.
LOG FILES
Like many other Web sites, vibrantplate.com makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP Addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
We share some personal data with third-party providers, namely MailerLite and our hosting provider.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
User and event data in Google Analytics is stored for 38 months. This is to be able to provide you with a better user experience when visiting our website.
Personal data through the contact form is stored indefinitely. The data is not used for marketing purposes, but only for customer service purposes.
Personal data on email signup forms is stored indefinitely and may be used for marketing purposes and website updates.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We use an SSL certificate to enable the HTTP Secure (HTTPS) extension of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) for secure communication, so any data you share with us is encrypted and cannot be intercepted.
