This silky smooth Vegan Chocolate Avocado Pudding is rich and creamy, ready in just 10 minutes! Plant-Based, Dairy-Free, Delicious and Nutritious!
We’re on a chocolate roll here! To help us with the sweet tooth and cravings we have made yet another healthy dessert, rich with chocolate, but full of healthy nutrients, instead of empty calories!
Meet our lovely, delicious and healthy Vegan Chocolate Avocado Pudding.
Rich, silky and smooth, this pudding hides avocados in the cream, which makes it super creamy and filling. But the best part? You absolutely cannot taste the avocado!
So we dare you to give it a try, even if you do not like avocados. It just may become your next go-to chocolate pudding, especially as it only takes a few minutes (and a food processor) to make!
How to make Vegan Chocolate Avocado Pudding?
This is the best part! This Avocado Pudding is really simple to make, we promise!
Start with your avocados. We used 2 small-ish avocados in our recipe, but 1 large may be enough. Make sure the avocados are soft and fully ripe. Any under-ripe avocados will give the pudding a strong taste and may result in an uneven texture. Scoop the avocado flesh and place it in a food processor or blender. Then, just simply add the rest of the ingredients: cacao powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla, and salt. Blend until smooth.
Then, melt your dark chocolate chips over a hot water bath and add the melted chocolate to the avocado pudding, folding it in gently.
At this point, your pudding is almost done, and it only took us like 10 minutes. Now transfer the pudding into 4 smaller jars and place in the fridge for half an hour.
Before serving, just whip up some plant-based whipping cream, add a spoon of cream on each pudding and decorate to your liking!
Why make this Avocado Pudding?
First of all, this pudding is simply delicious! It is often difficult to find good tasting vegan puddings in the stores, and this recipe may just be our favorite so far! This pudding comes together in just a couple of minutes, it’s really easy to make AND it uses healthy ingredients, which is super important when you want to make sure you only feed yourself high-quality foods. I mean, talk about superfoods! Avocado provides healthy fats. Cacao Powder and dark chocolate provide antioxidants and help you stop your cravings (super important in those days of the month). Regulated sugar intake with just 3 tablespoons of plant-based maple syrup. And vanilla to add to the sweetness.
Will I taste the avocado?
Get some perfectly ripe and soft avocados and you will absolutely not be able to tell there is avocado in this pudding! The taste should be of rich dark chocolate – so make sure to use good quality chocolate!
This pudding is also filling and super satisfying and will help you with your sweet cravings while providing healthy nutrients.
How to store this avocado pudding?
We recommend storing the avocado pudding in air-tight glass jars and consuming it within two days.
